Gabriel Vides

Since 2013, I’ve had the privilege of coaching CrossFit and sharing my passion for fitness with others. Back then, I became a box owner in Guatemala, where I turned a lifelong love for sports into a career dedicated to performance, movement, and community.

CrossFit drew me in because of its ability to train across all fitness domains; constantly challenging, never routine. I’m especially driven by working with athletes: helping them break through limits, achieve their goals, and celebrate hard-earned PRs.

Now, I have the opportunity to join a team of great people and keep doing what fulfills me. At CrossFit Vangard, our vision is to keep growing our community in strength and knowledge, moving forward one step at a time. We believe we are made to evolve into the best version of ourselves, always cheering for each other’s accomplishments.

Coaching isn’t just about perfecting technique. It’s about empowering people, building real connections, and creating an environment where growth, resilience, and community thrive.

I’m grateful to work on my own fitness without falling into routine, pushing back against the “expiration date syndrome”—the idea that age or stage limits what we can achieve. Fitness is for life, and we’re all capable of more than we think.

Mi pasión por el CrossFit comenzó en 2022, cuando descubrí un deporte que combina fuerza, resistencia y comunidad de una manera única. Desde el primer WOD, me enamoré:

el desafío constante, la superación personal y esa sensación de euforia al terminar un entrenamiento agotador pero gratificante.

Lo que más me motiva es compartir ese amor. Me encanta enseñar CrossFit, ver cómo mis alumnos progresan, superan sus límites y se transforman física y mentalmente. Los beneficios son enormes: mejora la condición física integral, fortalece el cuerpo y la mente, reduce el estrés, aumenta la energía diaria y fomenta hábitos saludables a largo plazo.

Por eso decidí dar el paso y obtener la certificación CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, para guiar a otros con conocimiento sólido y seguridad. Además, soy instructora certificada de Zumba, lo que me permite combinar la intensidad del CrossFit con el ritmo y la diversión de la danza, ofreciendo clases variadas y motivadoras.

Hoy, vivo el CrossFit no solo como atleta, sino como entrenadora apasionada que busca inspirar a más personas a moverse, desafiarse y disfrutar del camino hacia una versión más fuerte de sí mismas.

Fabianna

Coach Fabi | CF-L1 | Weightlifting Enthusiast

Fabi started CrossFit in 2017 when her dad encouraged her to give it a try—and it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the challenge. She began competing nationally in Venezuela soon after and even became a national weightlifting champion in her division at just 13 years old.

After a short break due to a knee injury and a big move to the U.S. in 2021, Fabi jumped right back into competition—this time in weightlifting for her high school team, where she earned district, OBC, and regional titles, plus two podium finishes at states.

She rediscovered CrossFit in 2024 and immediately felt that same spark again. Her background in Olympic lifting gives her a sharp eye for barbell movement, and she loves helping athletes feel stronger and more confident each day. Fabi started coaching CrossFit Kids at the end of 2024 and now leads morning classes with her trademark energy and positivity.

Outside the gym, she’s studying graphic design in college and loves creating new things— when she’s not working at a movie theater (and enjoying unlimited popcorn).

Favorite WOD: Amanda — “I love muscle-ups and snatches… doesn’t mean I don’t die doing them!”

Gabriel Dias

My name is Gabriel Dias Pinto, and I started doing CrossFit in 2018, at the age of 15, at my family’s box in Brazil. Since then, I’ve developed a deep passion for the sport — not only for the workouts themselves, but for everything CrossFit represents: community, perseverance, and constant growth.

That passion completely changed my professional path. I initially started studying Law, but soon realized that what I truly wanted was to help people live healthier and longer lives through CrossFit. In 2021, I decided to switch to a Physical Education degree, already training more seriously and with the goal of one day competing and possibly becoming a professional athlete. At that point, I began to see CrossFit as something essential for people’s longevity and overall well-being.

In 2022, at the age of 19, I earned my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and began coaching — first as an intern in Brazil, and since 2024, as a Coach at CrossFit Vangard in the United States. Working here has allowed me to refine my coaching skills and grow as a professional. I feel truly fulfilled doing what I love every day, always striving to deliver excellence in every class.

Jasson Roman

I am Jasson Roman and Fitness has always been a part of my life. At just 12 years old, I had the privilege of representing Puerto Rico as part of the national basketball team. As a freshman in high school, I earned a starting position on the varsity team, an honor that led to being selected for the All-State Team that same year. I later went on to serve as Team Captain during both my junior and senior seasons, an experience that shaped my leadership and competitive spirit. I’ve also competed in other sports, from playing baseball at a high level to sprinting the 100m and 200m, throwing the javelin and shot put in track and field, and training in Jiu-Jitsu for five years. No matter the sport, I’ve always been driven by the challenge of pushing my limits. But it wasn’t until I discovered CrossFit in 2014 that I truly understood what fitness could mean.

CrossFit changed everything for me. It gave me more than just workouts, it gave me a community, a purpose, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be truly fit. The camaraderie, the shared struggle, and the constant pursuit of becoming just 1% better every day became something I couldn’t live without.

Five years ago, I decided to start coaching so I could give back what CrossFit had given me. Helping others find their strength, confidence, and passion for functional fitness quickly became one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Recently, I took the next step in that journey, becoming part owner of CrossFit Vangard. My mission is simple: to build a community where people of all backgrounds can come together, challenge themselves, and discover what they’re truly capable of.

CrossFit changed my life, and now, I’m here to help it change yours.

Kayle Jones

Hey everyone! I’m Kayle 👋

Hometown: Canton, Ohio

Coaching Experience: I’ve been coaching since May of 2025 but I always loved to help a fellow athlete in class or during a WOD prior to becoming a coach 😀

Before CrossFit: I didn’t really play any sports growing up, but I did love doing HIIT workouts, running and walking 5Ks and lifting.

How I Found CrossFit: A coach back in Ohio told me I had to try CrossFit but I never did. When I moved to Florida, a friend brought me to this box, and after my first class I was completely hooked! I felt in love with the variety, the challenge, and the community (well… minus the burpees and wall balls 🤣 ).

Why I Love Coaching: I love helping people progress in their fitness journey and making sure they get the most out of every workout. I really enjoy getting to know each person — understanding what motivates them and what goals they’re chasing — and being part of that process with them.

My Coaching Style: I like to bring the same energy my coaches gave me when I started — supportive, motivating, and a little push when you need it most. I’m all about creating a positive environment where everyone feels encouraged and confident to do their best.

What I Value Most: The camaraderie and family vibe that CrossFit brings. There’s nothing better than seeing everyone cheer each other on and grow together.

Fun Fact: I’m 100% a crazy cat lady 😸 I only have two cats right now, but if I could have twenty, I totally would!

Maria Cardozo

Coach Mauxy is a CrossFit Level 1 coach who combines her passion for movement with a love for helping others grow. She started CrossFit in 2023 and was immediately drawn to the challenge, the discipline, and the community. What began as a way to stay active quickly became something deeper, inspiring her to earn her L1 certification so she could share her passion and knowledge with others.

Maria enjoys working with new athletes and guiding them through the fundamentals of CrossFit. Her coaching style is approachable and encouraging, she loves getting to know each person, helping them focus on technique, and setting them up for long-term success. Her goal is to make sure every athlete not only improves physically but also feels connected and supported as part of the community.

Before discovering CrossFit, Maria built her athletic foundation through flamenco dance, which she has practiced and performed semi-professionally since childhood. Years of dancing instilled in her a deep appreciation for body awareness, rhythm, strength, and expression, qualities that now shape her approach to fitness and coaching. Outside the gym, Maria works as an industrial engineer, bringing her natural attention to detail and problem-solving mindset to everything she does.

Meagan Allen

Hello everyone! My name is Meagan Allen! I was raised in Gales Ferry, Connecticut but I am a Floridian by birth! I have always been a very active person! My first love is Dance, I have been dancing since I was three and still dance in various theatre shows and with Aether Motus dance company! Once I got into middle school, I started playing Lacrosse and continued into my sophomore year of college.  After graduating I moved to Florida to work for Disney! As much as I love working for the mouse I realized I started to lose myself to my work schedule! After years of falling in and out of working out at conventional gyms I decided to try CrossFit and never looked back! I loved the community aspect, the push I got from the coaches, and friends I made that kept me coming back. I became a coach to continue fostering that same feeling into my athletes! I look forward to seeing the athletes grow within their fitness and celebrating every win along the way! I love to break down olympic and power lifts and will always celebrate a couple extra pounds on the barbell! I can’t wait to workout with you!

Rodrigo Pinto

Rodrigo Pinto* is Brazilian, founder of *CrossFit Citius* (launched in 2017) in Brazil and partner at *CrossFit Vangard* in Florida, USA. His CrossFit journey kicked o in 2016, when he discovered a sport that blends strength, endurance and community in a way that felt entirely new to him.

From his very first WOD, Rodrigo was hooked  the constant challenge, the growth he felt, and that surge of euphoria after finishing a hard, rewarding workout. What drives him most now is sharing that passion. He loves seeing people from absolute beginners to seasoned athletes make progress, push past their limits and change not just their bodies, but their minds too. His extensive experience managing gyms, paired with his degree in Exercise Science, has allowed him not only to thrive in business but to help evolve a methodology in CrossFit that truly transforms lives.

Today, Rodrigo lives CrossFit not just as athlete or entrepreneur, but as a coach who’s fully committed to inspiring more people to move, to challenge themselves and to embrace the journey toward becoming the strongest version of themselves.

Yoli

Hey everyone! I’m Yoli

Hometown: Born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico and moved to Florida when I was 2 years old.

Coaching Experience: I started coaching in 2023. Even before that, I always loved helping classmates, especially anyone new or struggling with a movement. I want everyone to feel welcome and confident, no matter their abilities. In 2024, I earned my USAW Level 1 and PN1 Nutrition Coaching certifications to better help athletes both on the barbell and in their nutrition journey.

Before CrossFit: I never played any sports growing up. I lost 80 pounds just by changing my diet and staying consistent. Before CrossFit, I couldn’t even run a mile, but that all changed once I stepped into the gym.

How I Found CrossFit: After losing the weight, I wanted to do something active. I googled a gym, had no idea what CrossFit was, but decided to try it and instantly fell in love. The mix of strength, challenge, and community had me “hook gripped” from day one.

Why I Love Coaching: There are so many parts of coaching I love, but my favorite is showing athletes that they are capable of more than they think. Seeing someone surprise themselves with what they can do never gets old.

My Coaching Style: I’d describe myself as supportive, encouraging, and patient. I want every athlete to feel comfortable learning, confident in their progress, and proud of their e ort every time they walk out the door.

What I Value Most: Definitely the community. The people next to you in class aren’t your competition, they’re your teammates. Everyone just wants to see you improve, and that’s what makes it so special.

Fun Facts: I have a son with autism, and I’m praying one day he’ll love lifting like his mama. If you see him around, feel free to say hi. I love anything to do with a barbell and believe there’s nothing better than throwing some heavy stu     around. My favorite animal is the cow, my house is covered in cow print, and I’m a total plant lover…if you ever want to buy me a gift, you’ve got your hint.

KELLY STRASZEWSKI

Hi, I’m kelly, a passionate CrossFit coach with a diverse background rooted in movement, creativity, and performance. I grew up in the UK, exploring many sports, but gymnastics was the one that truly captivated me—I competed at a national level. I developed a deep appreciation for athleticism and technique.

My creative journey led me to study acting in London, which opened doors to an exciting career in musical theatre, TV, stunt shows, and ultimately performing as an Acrobat/Performer with DRAGONE in Le Rêve at the Wynn, Las Vegas, for over 15 years. Throughout my performing career, fitness was essential—staying strong and healthy allowed me to perform 10 shows a week with energy and precision.

Now, I channel my love for artistry and movement into my current role as Artistic Director for Drawn to Life at Cirque du Soleil. I believe in the incredible potential of the human body and mind, and I bring that mindset into every training session.

Coming from a performing background, I emphasize technique because it’s the foundation for safe and effective movement. I believe that perfection isn’t necessary—what matters is enjoying the process, trusting in your journey, and celebrating progress. Seeing clients hit PRs, crush their fitness goals, or simply share a laugh during our sessions—that’s what truly excites me.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements: You may place your membership on hold up to two (2) times per calendar year for a duration of up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least five (5) business days is required. The hold must be a minimum of 30 days, and at least 30 days must elapse between holds.

If a hold is placed less than five (5) days before a renewal is due, the renewal payment will be processed as usual, but the unused time will be credited and applied to your account to be used once you return from the hold period.

Upon expiration of the hold period, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. If you choose to return before the end of the hold period, the hold will be released, and payments will resume immediately.

If you submit a 30-day cancellation notice during the hold period, you will still be subject to the 30-day notice to cancel policy. Your cancellation notice will be backdated to the original start date of your hold, and you may still be required to make one additional payment within that 30-day notice period. Submitting the cancellation notice during the hold period does not exempt you from the 30-day notice to cancel policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
